St John’s Youth Services
St John’s Youth Services supports young people in the Adelaide metro area who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. As well as individuals, we accommodate and support couples, sibling groups and young parents with small dependent children. We believe in young people and refuse to define them by their temporary experience of homelessness. Instead, we focus on each young person’s talents and ambitions, and their capacity to overcome the challenges in their past and take control of their future. Since St John’s Youth Services was established in 1981, we have supported more than 15,000 young people experiencing homelessness or crisis. We know that with the right support, resources and access to opportunities, all young people can succeed. While most young people have supportive families to help them navigate the journey to independence, young people making the journey alone are extremely vulnerable to homelessness and long-term disadvantage. St John’s Youth Services provides this support, and walks alongside young people to ensure they have the resources and opportunities they need to make a place to call home.
